About
We are Naidiri Village
Bula/Cola!
We are a traditional Fijian village located on the South West coast of Viti Levu, Fiji Islands, along what is known as The Coral Coast of Fiji.
In 2009, we officially launched our Tabu (no-fishing zone) in response to the small size of fish that was being caught here in our village. Years later, we have a very successful marine protected area with a magnificent coral reef and an abundance of marine biodiversity. Today, we would like to take you and your family on the ultimate coral reef snorkelling experience in Fiji.

Our Official Logo
Earlier this year, we held a session in our community hall with the children of Naidiri village to produce a logo to represent our marine park.
Staghorn coral is an important habitat for fish and this coral form is very rare along The Coral Coast but it is abundant here in our MPA.
Geometric pattern to represent the humans and fish living in harmony in our shared home.

We have included 3 ecologically important fish to represent the 3 villages that are in our qoliqoli.
Humbug Damselfish control algal growth on corals.
Vagabond Butterflyfish are indicators of reef health as they are very sensitive to changes in their environment.
Moorish Idol fish control sponge populations that compete with corals for space.
